David Ferrer amounted a great task in beating all his previous opponents of the Madrid Open in straight sets. The final score of the untimely match with Richard Gasquet was 7-6(4), (6-3). With this win, David Ferrer moves on to his second Madrid semi-final, however this time he will have to play No. 2 Spaniard and fan favorite Rafael Nadal. Rafael Nadal has lost only a handful of times on his beloved ornage clay court. Ferrer will have to play his heart out only to keep up with the wicked lefty, it would be quite astonishing if Ferrer takes even one set against the great Rafael Nadal.Sunday, May 20, 2012
